Arrive in Jaipur, where a Wow Tour Guide representative will meet you and take you to your hotel. Rajasthan’s capital gives you a taste of what’s to come. Take it easy this evening and settle in before sightseeing starts.
Begin your day at Hawa Mahal, the iconic five-storey ‘Palace of Winds’ with 953 beautifully carved windows, glowing in the soft morning light. Continue to the City Palace, still home to Jaipur’s royal family, then visit the historic Jantar Mantar observatory. Wrap up your day at Johri Bazaar, browsing its colourful gemstones, textiles, and traditional handicrafts. Spend the night in Jaipur.
Check out and head to Bikaner, stopping along the way at Mandawa in the Shekhawati region, famous for its painted havelis. Visit the Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli and Goenka Double Haveli, then continue to Bikaner for the night. Visit Junagarh Fort, one of the few big forts in Rajasthan not built on a hilltop, with interiors decorated in gold leaf and glasswork. Then drive into the Thar Desert toward Jaisalmer, which was once an important stop on old caravan trade routes. Check in and relax for the evening. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Explore Jaisalmer Fort, also called Sonar Kila because of its honey-gold sandstone walls. It is one of the few forts where people still live inside. Visit the beautifully carved Nathmal Ki Haveli, then go to the Sam dunes for a camel safari and to watch the sunset in the desert. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Drive to Jodhpur and check into your hotel. The evening is free for you to relax before exploring the city the next day. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Visit Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest and best-preserved forts in India. Next, see Umaid Bhawan Palace, which serves as a royal residence, museum, and heritage hotel. Visit the white marble cenotaphs at Jaswant Thada and finish your day at Mandore Gardens. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Drive toward Udaipur, stopping at the Ranakpur Jain Temple, which has been well preserved for over 500 years and is famous for its many carved marble pillars. Continue to Udaipur and check in for the evening. Overnight in Udaipur.
